Recurring classes
Generating a series of classes on a schedule (daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly or custom dates), the 52-class limit, and how editing or deleting a series works.

Turn on Repeat this class on the New Class form to create many classes at once. Each generated class is a full, independent class that shares the series settings.
Setting up a series

A preview box shows "This will create N classes:" with the first five dates.
Rules to know:
- The first Session Day is the anchor and is always the first class in the series.
- Every series is capped at 52 classes, whatever the end condition.
- "Monthly (same day)" means, for example, "the second Tuesday". If a month has no such day (a fifth Friday), generation stops there.
- Multi-day classes repeat as a unit: every instance keeps the same day spacing and per-day times.
- All instances share course, location, capacity, price, published state, privacy, client and instructors. Each instructor gets one calendar event per instance.
Click Save; the message reads "Created N recurring classes." Each class shows a blue Recurring badge and its page shows "Recurring Series — N classes total (instance #k)".
Editing a series
Open any class in the series and click Edit Class. A blue box asks "Which classes would you like to update?":
- This class only (default)
- This and all future classes: this instance and every later instance number
- All classes in the series
When you choose a scope beyond "This class only", the other classes receive your course, location, description, capacity, price, published state, privacy, client and instructor list. They keep their own dates, but each of their days is set to your Day 1 start time and your last day's end time.
Warning
Series-wide edits flatten per-day times. If sibling classes are multi-day with different times on different days, edit them one at a time. Sibling classes also do not get calendar updates or student emails from a series edit; only the class you opened does.
Deleting a series
From the edit page, Delete offers the same three scopes. Deletion is all-or-nothing: if any targeted class still has a Pending or Confirmed registration, nothing is deleted and the message names the class. Cancel those classes first so students are notified. See Deleting a class.
Rescheduling one instance
Use Reschedule on the class page. It affects only that instance and notifies its students. See Rescheduling a class.
Limits
- You cannot turn an existing single class into a series; create a new series instead.
- Duplicating a class never creates a series.
