Roster exports in Red Cross format
When class is over, Export saves the roster as a Red Cross roster CSV with each student’s evaluation and, for anyone who didn’t pass, the reason.

Set results on the roster as you go, or use Mark All as Passed and then mark the exceptions. If the upload you use expects different column names, rename the headers once in Settings and every export uses your names.
JoinCPR doesn’t send the roster to the Red Cross: you upload the file to the Red Cross’s own system as you do today. Instructors can record results and export rosters for the classes they teach. See class rosters and roster exports.
Expiry dates that match Red Cross certificates
Red Cross certificates expire on the exact date, so JoinCPR does the same: a two-year certificate from a class on March 14, 2026 expires on March 14, 2028.
Passing a student records their certification with the class date as the issue date, using the course’s validity and the exact-date rule. Once the Red Cross issues the certificate, type its ID on the certification, and it shows on the student’s record and in their account.

Renewal reminders on the right date
JoinCPR emails each student before their certificate expires, by default 30 days and 7 days ahead, with a Find a Renewal Class button that opens your schedule filtered to that course.
Choose your own reminder days in Settings and reword the Certification Expiring email to match your voice. Each reminder goes out once, in the morning, and students who have already renewed with you are skipped. Certifications you import from your old system get reminders too, so returning students hear from you in time from your first month.

Frequently asked questions
Does JoinCPR submit rosters to the Red Cross automatically?
Not today. Export the roster in the AHA or Red Cross format and upload it to the certifying body’s system yourself. JoinCPR then tracks each student’s certification and expiry date.
Can I teach Red Cross and AHA courses from one account?
Yes. One account schedules and sells courses from every certifying body in the library (AHA, American Red Cross, HSI, NSC and ECSI) side by side, plus courses you create yourself. Each course keeps its own expiry rule, and any class can export an AHA or a Red Cross roster.
Does JoinCPR issue Red Cross certificates?
No. The AHA, Red Cross or other certifying body issues its own card, and JoinCPR doesn’t submit rosters to their systems. You export the roster in their format, record the card number in JoinCPR, and JoinCPR tracks the expiry date and sends the renewal reminders.
