JoinCPR keeps one record per student with every class, payment, waiver answer and certification. Import past students and certifications from a spreadsheet, and turn on student logins if you want them.

One record per student
A student record is created the first time someone registers, is added from a roster or is imported, and every later registration with the same email joins it.
The profile shows total classes, completed classes, active certifications and total spent, with contact details, whether they have a portal account, and a link to their company when they train through a corporate client. Search the student list by name, email or phone. Instructors see only the students in their own classes, read-only.
Import students, past classes and certifications

Students, past training and certifications are created, and failed rows download as an error report.
Past classes come in as imported training history on each student’s record. Completed rows with a class date and a validity create certifications with the right expiry date, including the provider’s card number, so renewal reminders start working straight away. No emails go to students during an import.

Optional student accounts
Turn on student logins and students can see their classes, receipts, certificates and online course keys in My Account.
Students create an account at checkout or on your booking site, and anyone with past registrations can claim them through an emailed link. My Account shows upcoming classes with a Join online class button for virtual classes, waitlist places, keycodes, receipts, past classes and certifications, and lets students update their details and text reminder preference.
Logins are off by default, and you can require an account to register. Changes to a registration, such as cancelling or moving to another date, stay with your team. See online registration for how accounts fit into checkout.
Internal notes and full history
Each profile keeps staff-only notes and the full registration history, with the actions you need on every row.
Filter the history by status and open any registration to see its answers, waivers, add-ons, keycode and transfers. From the same row you can resend a confirmation, transfer to another class, mark it paid or issue a refund. Imported history is labelled so you can tell it apart, and notes are never shown to students.

Frequently asked questions
How many students can I import at once?
Up to 1,000 rows per CSV file, and you can run as many imports as you need. Each row can include the student’s details, a course, a class date, a status and a certification card number.
Can students download their own certificates?
Yes, for certificates you issue yourself: students with an account can view, print and download them as a PDF under My Certifications. Cards from the AHA, Red Cross or another certifying body come from that organization, and the account shows the card number you recorded.
What happens to duplicate students?
JoinCPR keeps one record per email address, so a returning student’s new registration joins their existing record, and the import lets you update, skip or keep students who already exist. There’s no tool to merge two records with different email addresses.
