Full classes stop turning students away
Turn on the waitlist and every full public class shows Join Waitlist instead of a dead end, on your booking site, course pages and website widgets.
Joining takes a name, email and phone number, with no payment. Each person gets a confirmation email with their place in line and a link to check it or leave the list, and students with an account see their waitlist places in My Account.
When three or more people are waiting, JoinCPR suggests adding another date, and you can duplicate the class in one click.
How automatic seat offers work
A freed seat goes to the first person in line and is held for them until their offer runs out. Meanwhile the class stays full for everyone else.

Held seats and offer windows
Offers last 24 hours by default, and you can choose any window from 1 to 168 hours.
Close to class, the window shortens on its own: an offer made within 48 hours of the start lasts 4 hours, so a seat isn’t stuck with someone who is asleep, and no offer ever runs past your registration cut-off. Expired offers pass to the next person within 15 minutes.
Held seats count against capacity everywhere, so nobody can take a held seat by accident, and the class page shows how many seats are held and how many people are waiting.
Waiting for more than one seat
You can let one waitlist entry wait for several seats, up to 20, so a parent or a small group can wait together.
A multi-seat entry is only offered when that many seats are free at the same time. Until then it keeps its place while single seats go to the people behind it. When the offer comes, it opens group checkout sized to the held seats, so one person registers and pays for everyone.
You stay in control
The waitlist sits below the roster on the class page, with each person’s place, contact details, seats wanted and status.
Offer now
Send a seat to someone ahead of the line. On a full class it reserves a seat over capacity, the same as adding a walk-in.
Add to class
Skip the offer and register them yourself, with a card payment, cash or a waived fee.
Remove
Take someone off the list. If they were holding an offer, the seat passes to the next person.
Prefer to hand out seats yourself? Turn off automatic offers and freed seats stay open until you act. Rescheduling a class keeps its waitlist and tells everyone on it, and cancelling a class closes the list and can email each person on it. More on the class roster.
Frequently asked questions
What frees up a seat?
Cancelling a registration, a full refund (which cancels it), transferring a student to another class, raising the class capacity, or publishing a class again after it was unpublished. Each freed seat is offered to the next person in line.
How long does a student have to claim a seat?
24 hours by default, or any window you set from 1 to 168 hours. Offers made within 48 hours of the class last 4 hours, and no offer runs past your registration cut-off.
Can I turn automatic offers off?
Yes. Switch off Offer seats automatically and freed seats stay open until you use Offer now or Add to class on the class page, or a visitor registers normally.
Do private classes have a waitlist?
No. The waitlist is for public classes with a capacity. Private corporate classes and classes with no capacity limit never show Join Waitlist.
