Start from a ready-made course library

JoinCPR comes with a library of 51 standard AHA, Red Cross, HSI, NSC and ECSI courses, with descriptions, durations and expiry rules already filled in.

Pick the courses you teach, set your price, and they’re ready to schedule. Each library course carries how long its certification lasts and the certifying body’s expiry rule, so every certification date comes out right. The course becomes yours to edit, and later changes to the library never touch it.

Teach something that isn’t in the library, such as a workplace safety class or your own skills course? Create a course from scratch with its own price, duration and certification settings. Questions, waivers and add-ons attach to the course, so every class of it asks the same things.

  • AHA 11 courses

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Professionals, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), ACLS for Experienced Providers (ACLS EP), and more

  • Red Cross 17 courses

Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and more

  • HSI 6 courses

Adult First Aid | CPR AED, Basic Life Support (BLS), Emergency Medical Response, and more

  • NSC 11 courses

NSC First Aid, CPR & AED, NSC Pediatric First Aid, CPR & AED, Basic Life Support (BLS), and more

  • ECSI 6 courses

Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED, Advanced First Aid, CPR, and AED, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, and more

Schedule any kind of class

One form handles every class: pick the course, location, dates, capacity, price and instructors, then publish when you’re ready.

Multi-day classes

Add as many session days as a class needs, each with its own date and times. A two-day ACLS course or a weekend instructor course is one class with one roster, and the sign-in sheet gets a signature column for each day.

Recurring series

Turn on Repeat this class to create a whole series at once: daily, weekly, every two weeks, monthly on the same date or the same weekday, or custom dates you pick. A series can hold up to 52 classes, and later you can edit just one class, this and every later class, or the whole series.

Private classes for corporate clients

Mark a class private for one corporate client and it never appears on your public schedule. The client’s admins register employees through their portal, or you share the class’s private registration link. See corporate and group training.

Virtual and blended classes

Hold a class at a virtual location and registered students get the Zoom, Meet or Teams link automatically, while blended courses carry instructions for the online part. See virtual and blended classes.

Reschedule or cancel without the phone calls

Reschedule moves a class to a new date, time or location and emails every confirmed student the old and new details with your note.

It also resets the reminder email and text so they go out again for the new date, updates your instructors’ Google or Outlook events, and tells anyone on the waitlist. The class page keeps a Rescheduled badge with the original date. Moving just one student instead? Transfer them to another class from the roster.

If a class is called off, Cancel Class takes it off your schedule and can email everyone registered. Cancelling never moves money on its own: you issue refunds from the roster, so you decide who gets one.

See every class on one calendar

The month calendar shows every class on its day, colour-coded: blue when seats are open, red when full, grey for drafts.

Click a class for its time, location and how many are registered, with a link straight to its roster. Multi-day classes appear on each of their days. Instructors see only the classes they teach.

The classes list adds search and filters for upcoming, past, public and private classes, with capacity and status at a glance. Duplicate any class in one click to put on another date.

Share classes anywhere with links, QR codes and widgets

Your whole schedule, every course and every class has its own link and QR code, ready for an email, a social post or a flyer.

Copy All Classes Link shares your full schedule, and each class and course has its own copy link and a downloadable QR code. To show classes on your own website, use the website booking widget; to be found on Google, your booking website gives every course a page of its own.

Shared links keep working. When a class ends or is cancelled, its link forwards to the course page, and a course you rename keeps its old address too, so printed QR codes never lead to a dead end.

Instructor calendars stay in sync

Each instructor can connect their own Google Calendar or Outlook, and the classes they’re assigned to appear there automatically.

When you assign an instructor, reschedule a class or change its details, their event is created or updated within about a minute, with the address and the number registered. Remove them from a class, or delete it, and the event goes. Online classes put the meeting link in the event.

Prefer Apple Calendar or another app? Anyone on your team can subscribe to a private iCal feed of their classes, or of your whole published schedule. Sync runs one way, from JoinCPR to the calendar. More on your team in instructor management.

Frequently asked questions

Can I schedule a class that runs over several days?

Yes. Add a session day for each day of the class, each with its own date and times. It stays one class with one roster, and the sign-in sheet prints a signature column for every day.

How many classes can a recurring series create?

Up to 52. Repeat a class daily, weekly, every two weeks, monthly or on custom dates, and end the series after a number of classes, on a date you choose, or never, which stops at 52.

What happens to registered students when I reschedule?

Confirmed students get a Class Rescheduled email with the old and new date, time and location plus your note, and their reminder goes out again before the new date. Their registration and payment stay exactly as they were.

Can I limit class size?

Yes. Set a capacity on each class, or leave it blank for unlimited. Checkout stops at capacity, full classes show Full or Join Waitlist, and staff can still add a walk-in with a warning.

Is there a week or day calendar view?

Not today. The calendar shows a month at a time, and the classes list can be searched and filtered by upcoming, past, public and private classes.
