The short answer
Choose CPR Enroll if you’ll use its extras: a paperwork and checklist builder, Apple and Google Wallet passes, a QR code on certificates, kiosk and RQI stations, deposits and invoices, sales tax and processing-fee lines, a store, equipment tracking, or its browser extension for filing Red Cross and HSI records. Its $30 plan also costs less than JoinCPR when your students pay the $2 fee.

Each CPR Enroll course has a platform fee setting: “Account Paid”, the default, absorbs the $2 into your costs, and “Student Paid” adds it to the student’s checkout total as a separate line. Both plans include every CPR Enroll feature, and paying yearly saves two months ($300 or $3,020 a year).
CPR Enroll’s 14-day trial needs a card and moves onto your chosen plan automatically unless you cancel. JoinCPR’s trial needs no card; nothing is charged unless you subscribe. JoinCPR is billed monthly with no contract. Card processing is separate for both: CPR Enroll through Stripe, JoinCPR through your own Stripe or Square account.

Each figure is the subscription plus any per-registration or percentage platform fee, on the cheapest published plan for that volume. Percentage fees assume a $75 average class price. Where CPR Enroll costs less. When your students pay the $2 fee, CPR Enroll’s Standard plan costs your business $30 a month at any volume, less than JoinCPR’s $59. Your students then pay $100 between them at 50 registrations a month, $200 at 100 and $500 at 250, on top of your class prices. When you absorb the fee, CPR Enroll costs $130, $230 and $302 at those volumes.

CPR Enroll lists more tools than JoinCPR does, especially for paperwork, money and on-site operations, and all of them are on both of its plans.
- Paperwork and checklists. A document builder with signatures, checklists, approvals and submit-and-lock, plus templates from the AHA, Red Cross, HSI and others.
- Wallet passes and QR verification. Students can add their credential to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, and the certificate carries a QR code that opens a verification page. JoinCPR has neither.
- Kiosk and RQI stations for instructor-less training.
- Deposits, invoices and tax. Deposits instead of full payment, corporate invoices with Net 30 or Net 60 terms, sales tax through Stripe Tax and a processing-fee line at checkout. JoinCPR has none of these today.
- A store for selling products on their own, plus equipment tracking and instructor job dispatch.
