Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign and GoHighLevel
Connect Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign or GoHighLevel to JoinCPR so students are added and tagged when they register, complete or cancel, and sync past students.

Under Settings → Integrations, administrators can connect one or more marketing tools. Students are then added as contacts and tagged as they register, complete and cancel, so you can run renewal campaigns from your own tool.
What is synced
For every student with a real email address: email, first name, last name, phone, and tags. The tag joincpr-student is always applied. Then:

Note
Registrations created by staff from a roster, by import or through the client portal do not trigger a sync, and neither do completions marked in the Instructor Portal. Use Sync All Existing Students to catch up. Contacts are never removed or unsubscribed by JoinCPR.
Mailchimp
- Enter your API Key (Mailchimp → Account → Extras → API keys) and click Connect Mailchimp.
- Choose an Audience. Nothing syncs until one is selected.
- Switches: Sync when student registers, Sync when student completes a class, Tag students by course name, Require double opt-in (new members must confirm by email).
- Merge fields set: FNAME, LNAME, PHONE.
ActiveCampaign
- Enter your API URL (
https://youraccount.api-us1.com) and API Key (Settings → Developer) and click Connect ActiveCampaign. - Choose a List. Contacts and tags sync even before a list is chosen; list membership is added once you pick one.
- Three custom fields are created for you: Last Class Date, Last Course Name, Total Classes Taken.
GoHighLevel
- Enter your API Key and Location ID (Settings → Business Profile) and click Connect GoHighLevel.
- Contacts get source "JoinCPR", the tags above, custom fields
last_class_date,last_course_nameandtotal_classes_taken(create these keys in your GHL location for the values to land), and notes such as "Registered for {Course} on {date}". - No pipelines or opportunities are created.
Sync All Existing Students
After connecting, click Sync All Existing Students to push every student who has a real email and at least one registration, with tags built from their whole history. The button shows "Syncing..." until done, then "Last bulk sync: N students synced". Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign need an audience or list selected first.
Disconnecting
Disconnect clears the credentials and selections. Contacts already created remain in your tool.
