Locations
Add the venues where you teach, in person or online: the address fields, where each address appears on your booking site and emails, and deleting one.

Locations are the venues you attach to classes. Manage them under Manage → Locations (admins and staff).
Fields
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Name | Required. Shown in class pickers, the classes list, emails and reports. |
| Address | Street line. There is no separate suite or room field; include it here. |
| City, State, ZIP | Optional, but fill in at least the city and state of your main venue: they put your city in every portal page title for search engines. |
| Type | In person (the default) or Online (virtual). A virtual location has no address; instead it has a default Meeting link and Joining instructions that go to registered students. See Virtual and blended classes. |
Capacity belongs to the class, not the location. The Status column always shows Active; there is no way to deactivate a location. Virtual locations carry an Online badge and read "Online" wherever an address would appear.
Where the address shows up
| Place | Shows |
|---|---|
| Classes list | Location name |
| Class page and sign-in sheet | Name and full address |
| Student portal, checkout, success page, My Account | Name and full address; the home page All locations filter lists addresses |
| Emails | {{class_location}} = name plus address ("TBD" when a class has no location); {{class_address}} = address only. See Merge tags. |
| Receipts | Name and address in the Class section |
| Google, Outlook and iCal calendar events | Full address |
| SMS reminders | Appended after the time |
| Reports | Location name |
| Search engines | The first active location's city and state form the "in {City, ST}" part of portal page titles and the business address Google is given; each class page names its venue and address as the event location. See Getting found on Google. |
Deleting
Delete removes the location from the list. There is no check for classes that use it.
Warning
Classes that used a deleted location lose their venue: the list shows "—", the class page "No location", emails and calendar entries "TBD", and the address disappears from receipts and sign-in sheets. Only delete locations that were never used, or edit the details instead.
