Definitions of the status badges and terms used across JoinCPR, from Pending, Confirmed and No show to Expiring soon, Revoked and custom domain states.

Registration statuses

Badge Meaning
Pending Seat held, payment not received (pay later, corporate booking, or set by staff)
Confirmed Registered and expected
Completed Attended; a certificate was issued if the course grants one
Cancelled Not attending; the seat is free
No show Did not attend
Refunded / Partially Refunded Money returned; a full refund also cancels
Transferred Moved in from another class
Imported Historical record from the CSV import; read-only
Paid / Unpaid / Free Payment state of the registration
Group / Group Lead Part of a group registration; the lead is the payer

Class statuses

Badge Meaning
Published Visible and bookable on the portal
Draft Hidden from students
Cancelled Cancelled by staff; also unpublished
Private — {Client} Only for one corporate client
Recurring Part of a series
Rescheduled Date changed with the Reschedule tool
Full Capacity reached (registrations plus seats held for waitlist offers)

Waitlist statuses

Badge Meaning
Waiting In line for a seat; the number is their position
Offered until … A seat is held for them until that time
Offer expired The window passed; the seat went to the next person
Registered They claimed the seat (or were added by staff)
Removed Left the list, removed by staff, or the class was cancelled

Certification and credential statuses

Badge Meaning
Active Valid
Expiring soon Expires within 30 days
Expired Past its expiry date
Revoked Invalidated by staff
No Expiry Credential with no expiry date

Team, client and other statuses

Badge Meaning
Invited / Expired (team, portal users) Invitation sent / invitation older than 7 days
Active / Inactive (clients, employees, promo codes, add-ons, courses…) In use / retired but kept
Fully Used (promo code) Reached its Max Uses
Sent / Manually Sent / Pending (keycodes) Assigned at checkout / sent by staff / waiting for a code
Connected / Setup Incomplete (payments) Processor linked / Stripe still needs onboarding
Pending / Active / Error (custom domain) Certificate being issued / live / DNS problem

Terms

  • App portal: the dashboard at app.joincpr.com, where your team works.
  • Student portal: your public site at your-business.joincpr.com or your custom domain.
  • Client portal: the corporate client area at /client on your portal.
  • Course: what you teach; carries price, validity, add-ons, questions and agreements.
  • Class: a scheduled session of a course.
  • Registration: a student's seat in a class.
  • Waitlist: the line of students waiting for a seat in a full class; a freed seat is offered to the first of them and held until the offer expires.
  • Corporate client: a company whose employees you train; may have private classes and portal users.
  • Group registration: several students registered and paid for by one person.
  • Keycode bank (digital product): a stock of access codes handed out at checkout.
  • Add-on: an optional product sold with a registration.
  • Agreement: a waiver students must accept.
  • Merge tag: a placeholder in an email template, such as {{student_name}}.
  • Portal address: your custom domain if connected, otherwise your subdomain.
  • Test mode / Live mode: whether checkout uses your test or live payment connection.
