No per-student, per-registration or platform fees
Your bill doesn’t change with your volume: $59 a month covers a quiet month and your busiest month alike. JoinCPR doesn’t charge per student, per registration or per payment, and never adds a fee to what your students pay.
Some CPR registration platforms charge for every registration, take a percentage of each payment, or add a booking fee to the student’s total at checkout. JoinCPR does none of these. Group registrations, walk-ins, corporate bookings and online class seats all cost you nothing extra.
Students, classes, courses, locations and team members are unlimited, so adding an instructor or opening a second location never moves you to a bigger plan. SMS text reminders are included too, sent from a shared JoinCPR number, so there is no separate texting bill.

Card processing is paid to Stripe or Square at their standard rates, not to JoinCPR.
What you pay for card processing
Card processing is charged by Stripe or Square at their standard rates, exactly as if you used them on your own. JoinCPR takes nothing from each payment.
Students pay straight into your own Stripe or Square account, and the money follows your normal payout schedule. Processing fees, payouts, disputes and tax reporting all live in your Stripe or Square dashboard. Check their current rates on Stripe’s pricing page and Square’s pricing page.
Apple Pay and Google Pay work through Stripe when you turn them on in your Stripe account. You don’t need either processor to start: until you connect one, students can register and pay you later. See how payments with Stripe or Square work.
How the 15-day free trial works
Every account starts with a 15-day free trial with every feature switched on, and no credit card is needed to sign up.

Sign up with your email
No card. You get a booking site on a joincpr.com address straight away, and a setup checklist walks you through the rest.

Set it up and try it
Add courses from the library, schedule classes, and connect Stripe or Square in test mode to try the checkout yourself.

Take real registrations
Everything works during the trial: live payments, reminders, rosters, certifications and the client portal.

Subscribe when you’re ready
Subscribe from the Billing page for $59 a month. If you don’t, your account pauses when the trial ends and nothing is charged.
Administrators get an email when three days of the trial are left, and a banner in the dashboard counts down the days. If the trial ends without a subscription, your dashboard locks and your booking pages stop taking registrations until you subscribe, which opens everything again as you left it.
Subscribing during the trial ends the trial that day and starts your monthly billing, so if you want every trial day, subscribe near the end. After that, JoinCPR is billed monthly with no contract, and you can cancel anytime.

How we worked it out. Each figure is the subscription plus any per-registration or percentage platform fee, on the cheapest published plan for that volume. Percentage fees assume a $75 average class price. Card processing is left out for everyone, and so are one-time setup fees. Prices checked on September 29, 2026; follow each name to the company’s own pricing page.
Where others cost less. CPR Enroll’s Standard plan when your students pay its $2 enrollment fee (at every volume shown) and MyTASystem’s one-user Instructor plan (at 50 and 100 registrations a month) cost less than JoinCPR. Features differ between products, so compare what you need as well as the price.
- ClassByte: One plan at $199 a month with unlimited students, instructors and classes. Setup fee and free trial not stated; demo on request.
- CPR Enroll: Standard is $30 a month plus a $2 platform fee per student enrollment, which you pay or pass on to students. Unlimited+ is $302 a month with no enrollment fee. No setup fee. 14-day free trial, card required.
- Enrollware: Tiered plans by monthly registrations: $119 up to 100, $179 for 101 to 200 and $299 above 200. Premium ($449) adds AHA training center features, and a Lite plan at $45 with fewer features is listed on a separate page. Setup fees shown as waived. Payments go through EnrollwarePay (2.8% + $0.20 per transaction and $9.99 a month), which the table leaves out.
- Hovn: Essentials is $50 a month with 30 registrations ($2 each after), Pro $160 with 100 ($1.75 after) and Business $380 with 250 ($1.50 after). A registration counts once the student’s certification is issued. $50 setup fee on Essentials. No free trial; a free walkthrough instead.
- MyTASystem: Instructor is $19 a month for 1 user, Basic $69 for up to 10 users and Business $149 for unlimited users, each plus a 0.5% platform fee on payments. 30-day free trial, no card required.

Are there setup fees?
No. JoinCPR costs $59 per month for one plan with every feature. There are no setup fees and no per-student or per-registration fees.
Do you charge per student or per registration?
No. The price is $59 a month whether you register ten students or a thousand, and students, classes, courses, locations and team members are unlimited. JoinCPR takes no cut of your payments either.
Are SMS reminders included?
Yes, at no extra cost. Text reminders are part of the $59 plan and go out from a shared JoinCPR number, so there is no texting account to set up. Only students who opt in receive them.
Do I need Stripe or Square to start?
No. Until you connect one, checkout offers Register (Pay Later): the student’s seat is held, their confirmation says payment is due, and you mark them paid when they pay you. Connect Stripe or Square whenever you’re ready.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. JoinCPR is billed monthly with no contract. Cancel from the Billing page and your account keeps working until the end of the month you’ve paid for. You can resume any time before then.
What happens when my trial ends?
Nothing is charged, because no card was taken. Your dashboard locks and your booking pages stop taking registrations until you subscribe from the Billing page, which opens everything again as you left it. Administrators get an email when three days are left.
